There are quite a few driving articles in this section because driving is an important skill in today's society, and the vast number of drivers on the roads really shouldn't have a licence at all. It's not just about getting from A to B, it's about doing it in the safest possible manner for you and other road users. More people are killed with cars than guns.

Magic

So you want to do magic? Do you know what kind of magic? Hopefully, you don't want to walk through the Great Wall of China or make the Statue of Liberty disappear just yet. All magicians started small, and the best ones started at a very young age. If you don't fit this criterion, then magic probably isn't going to make you rich and famous, but you can certainly earn a bit of money and impress your friends with just a little bit of skill. It's also a great way to introduce yourself to new people and strike up a conversation.

Speed Reading

Speed Reading* is a very useful skill. Most people read every single word when they read a sentence. Tests have shown that the eye skips backwards and forwards on each line as the brain tries to make sense of the sentence. The eye will even go back over words that have already been read, probably as an error checking mechanism. In short, most people read very inefficiently and haven't advanced any further than when they were first taught to read at school.
